OR1® Project Planning/Program Management Guide

This document provides an overview of the typical process for installing the OR1® integrated operating room system, components, and subcomponents. It’s intended to help administrators with overall project planning and program management.

This document makes certain assumptions in establishing timelines and schedules. For example, it assumes that facilities will obtain all requisite permits and pass all necessary inspections during the construction phase.

If the project is a renovation and the customer is keeping the existing boom, lights, and flat-panel arms, the facility needs to make sure that these products will not be nearing End-of-Life or End-of-Service. Otherwise, additional cost will be incurred for rewiring and re-installing systems.
