Part A: Overview of Instrumentation:

This video was created as an overview of the more common instruments used in otology procedures. The intended audience includes residents, physicians, and scrub techs who have not had extensive experience in ear surgery.  An overview is provided for each ear instrument, as well as a historical perspective of the instrument, comments from prominent physicians about the instruments, and clinical video demonstrating the features of these instruments and their use.   It’s recommended that scrub technicians review this video prior to participating in ear surgery.
